Well I am sat, front right, having enjoyed a wonderful service and a scrumptious lunch with members, past and present, of the Winton Methodist Family Camping Club. I turn 40 this year so I know how long those 4 decades are. I attended my first camp in March 1978 at the grand old age of 8 months, and have been coming ever since. I am now the secretary for the club and love bringing my 3 children along to the W.M.F.C.C. camps. It was wonderful to celebrate our camping club and hope that others will learn of us and decide to come and join us so we can continue for another 4 decades and more, so my children can bring their families in years to come. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make today such a success. Margaret and Sheena for the wonderful raffle, Mike and Skip for the succulent meats, Pip & Pat for the wonderful cakes and Barry & Chris for organising the event. I look back at the many memories I have of my early camps, love the fact I'm making memories for my children and look forward to the many opportunities ahead for making more memories.
