During our bank holiday camp weekend we held a Penny Fayre and BBQ with an open invite for any friends and family of the church to come and join us. It was a glorious day and it was lovely to see so many visitors coming out and sharing with us. The sun shone, lots of fun was had and we raised £62 for Macmillan Caring Locally which we donate in memory of David Ramsden who was a member of the WMFCC for many years and loved camping with the club. |

We are camping at Bucknowle Farm over the August bank holiday weekend. This is a site that we return to time and time again due to it's gorgeous location, just a short walk across Corfe Common into the lovely village of Corfe. We are holding a Penny Fayre on Saturday 27th August at 2.30pm. This is a fun afternoon where members bring along a game for others to play. In previous years we've had putting pegs on a line, dropping a coin on a coin in a bucket of water, quoits, human fruit machine etc... I'm sure we'll have lots of new ideas this year. After this we will be having a BBQ. We'd love you to come and join us. Just contact our secretary Katherine for more information.
topaztigs@gmail.com Hope to see you there! Are you coming? On the website there is a page titled attendance. On there is a form where you fill in your name and just say which camps you are planning on attending. We know last minute things crop up, so it's not set in stone, but if we could have a rough idea of numbers it makes planning the camps easier.
The camp at Hurley Riverside Park (31st May - 5th June) is one where we do actually need to guarantee a certain number of units so could you please fill in the form asap. Many thanks! I'm looking forward to time under canvas with a wonderful group of people this year having missed camping in 2015 due to our house being extended up and out :-) Winton Methodist Church Saturday 26th September 10am - 12.30pm There will be a £2 admission fee which will include coffee/tea and a piece of cake. The morning will also have a bring & buy stall and raffle. If you have any items to donate please give to Pat and Barrie. Volunteers to help on the morning would be much appreciated, and of course please bake a cake :-) Thank you for all the support; baking cakes, pouring tea, running the raffle and spending your pennies!
£380 has been sent off to Macmillan following the coffee morning and cake sale. Macmillan Coffee Morning
