FRIDAY 24th August Site opens at 10.30 a.m. Please be aware that this is a farm site in the Purbecks where flat ground is hard to find. Our field is not bad but we recommend blocks to level up your van. Tents/camper vans will have priority for flatter spaces. SATURDAY 25th August Free day in a beautiful area with lots to see and do. Children are encouraged to prepare for a “Decorate a Bucket” competition using local material, to be judged this evening. 7.30 p.m. Meet in our barn (chairs provided) for a progressive Mexican Train (dominoes) evening. Please bring your choice of cheese and biscuits which we’ll put together for our interval. Wine and soft drinks will be provided. SUNDAY 26th August 10.30 a.m. Methodist Church service in Wareham 3.00 p.m. approx.(depending on tide) For those who wish, there will be a river cruise of around one hour from Wareham. Cost £4 per person. It would be helpful if you would please indicate with your camp booking if you would like to come on the cruise. MONDAY 27th August A.M. A game of ROUNDERS in our field. Bucknowle Farm Corfe Castle Wareham BH20 5PQ Take the road to Wareham and then follow the A351 (Swanage Road). Just before Corfe Castle turn right opposite Castle View Visitors Centre (brown sign post to The New Inn). After approx 1 mile you will see Bucknowle Farm on the left. Drive slowly as it would be difficult to turn round past the site. The site entrance is on the left down the farm lane and we have to cross the main camp field. DETAILS:The cost is £10 per night for Van/Tent and two people.
Children over 3 yrs are £2 per night and over 15 £3 per night. No electrics. No BBQs please and dogs on leads. There are a number of events on that weekend including a Craft Fair at Church Knowle from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., Wareham Musical Festival and films under the stars at Corfe. |
