Bucknowle Farm, 4th - 7th May 2018
We all arrived on the Friday at various times to glorious sunshine for our first camp of the year. We had ten units including Jenny and Tim who joined us for the first time.
Once we had all set up, we had welcome drinks in the marquee with biscuits and cakes. This was followed by a game of Snatch which created a good competition with everyone trying to win the Matchmakers, Jaffa cakes or plastic boxes. There was a lot of laughter all round!
On the Saturday, we continued to have amazing weather and enjoyed the local area including a treasure trail in Corfe. At 6pm we joined together to eat outside and then had a very competitive game of Family Fortunes!
It was good to worship at Wareham Methodist Church on the Sunday morning and some then went out for lunch. We continued to enjoy the weather on Monday before reluctantly packing up.

Bucknowle Farm Corfe Castle Wareham BH20 5PQ Take the road to Wareham and then follow the A351 (Swanage Road). Just before Corfe Castle turn right opposite Castle View Visitors Centre (brown sign post to The New Inn). After approx 1 mile you will see Bucknowle Farm on the left. Drive slowly as it would be difficult to turn round past the site. The site entrance is on the left down the farm lane and we have to cross the main camp field. |
