A sunny start to our 2019 season...
Six units attended our first camp of the season when we returned to Church Farm at Six-penny Handley. It was surprisingly quiet and peaceful for a bank holiday weekend - plenty of space to wander, sit out and enjoy the surroundings.

10.30am Church Service, Salisbury Methodist Church

11am Walk around the local area with Harry and Phil's OS map!
4.00pm Site closes (time tbc)
Along the Spur Road to the Ashley Heath round-about – 3rdexit.
Bear left after 300 yds - off the dual carriage way
Sharp left on to the B 3081 then on to the Verwood Rd – Verwood 9 miles
Continue along the B 3081 towards Shaftesbury for 15 miles
‘T’ Jct - turn rt. on the Shaftesbury Road B 3078, and cont. for a mile
Turn left and back on to B 3081
Roundabout crossing A 354 take second exit
Continue into Sixpenny Handley village on the B 3081
Pass the Roebuck Hotel and the P.O.
Lane to campsite rt hand side – sign posted
Turn rt. just before the C of E Church
Proceed to large new Reception Building.

Hanlega’s Camp Restaurant (Saxon word) - Excellent chef!

Cost £12per unit per night, electricity £3.50 per night extra (Limited hook ups available)
Evening meals are available in the restaurant Monday to Saturday
