Social distancing is easy to do when you're in the great outdoors in a field! Tents, cars, caravans, sanitisers and masks packed, and we were able to hold our first camp of 2021 after government restrictions were lifted to allow us to travel.

We have sadly had to cancel all of our rallies this year due to the global pandemic.
We will aim to rebook the sites for 2021 and look forward to camping together again then. Stay safe. We look forward to getting together for our first meeting of this new decade. We have our AGM coming up on Sunday 12th January at The Collingwood Hotel. Please make sure you've let our secretary know that you will be attending. Further details of the meeting and menu can be found on the website.
Come and join us at Winton Methodist Church on Saturday 29th September for coffee and cake to raise money for Macmillan cancer support. Serving from 10am - 12.30pm.
Looking forward to seeing members for our AGM this afternoon. We are having our meal provided by 'Crumbs' catering service.
Hibberd Court 20a Hibberd Way Bournemouth BH10 4EP Directions From Columbia Road take either Slades Farm Road or Ensbury Avenue. Turn into Hibberd Way, Hibberd Court is second entrance on the right. Well I am sat, front right, having enjoyed a wonderful service and a scrumptious lunch with members, past and present, of the Winton Methodist Family Camping Club. I turn 40 this year so I know how long those 4 decades are. I attended my first camp in March 1978 at the grand old age of 8 months, and have been coming ever since. I am now the secretary for the club and love bringing my 3 children along to the W.M.F.C.C. camps. It was wonderful to celebrate our camping club and hope that others will learn of us and decide to come and join us so we can continue for another 4 decades and more, so my children can bring their families in years to come. Thank you to everyone who worked hard to make today such a success. Margaret and Sheena for the wonderful raffle, Mike and Skip for the succulent meats, Pip & Pat for the wonderful cakes and Barry & Chris for organising the event. I look back at the many memories I have of my early camps, love the fact I'm making memories for my children and look forward to the many opportunities ahead for making more memories.
This weekend sees the Winton Methodist Family Camping Club celebrate 40 years of camping!
We are celebrating with a service at Winton Methodist Church followed by a ploughman's lunch and spit roast with members past and present attending. Fred has been attending camps with the WMFCC for as long as I can remember.... I hope he's happy chasing chickens in the sky!
Please keep Sunday 29th January free for our AGM and meal at the Whitehall Hotel.
